Bank of America stinks. I guess I'll cut up the credit card :)

    They all stink.

Find a local credit union. You'll be much happier.

    That's why I use a credit union.
Only reason I have a Chase credit card is for the Southwest air miles.

My wife and I started using credit cards for daily expenses, then paying
the balance off at the end of the month. Much to my surprise, we were accumulating points by doing so. My wife's going to get a new iPhone,
trickle her old phone to my daughter, and I'll be stuck with my same old mid-range Moto Stylus.

This didn't work out like I thought it would.

I do the same thing... I usually accumulate about $2000/year in points doing this. I get thes $ depositied into my bank account. No interest charges...

I suspect it won't be long before the banks stop giving out the points.

Me and the wife have been to Phoenix, Charlotte, Buffalo, and several places in California for about $12 for the 2 of us thanks to paying everything with the credit card and then paying it off before it's due.

Also have a couple of upcoming trips for the same price.

It's a good way to entice you to use your cards more, and they make WAY more money off the transaction fees than they give you cash back :). Probably no reason to stop this any time soon. At least while we still have real cash, anyway.
