PAROXYSM is a free, persistent multiplayer text RPG (a MUD) set in
a modern supernatural dystopia. WWII ended when a portal to Hell
opened. Almost half of humanity died before the gates closed. One
world government, the Cortex, has kept watch ever since.
You can play a vampire, a werewolf or a demonborn, or enforce for
the Cortex. Players build factions, fight over territory and PvP,
and AI Champions compete in events when the world is quiet.
Since our last ad here, you can play straight from a web browser,
and a classic MUD client still works the same way it always did.
