1 lb Dried Great Northern beans
5 c Water
1 1/4 c Dry white wine
2 cl Garlic; minced
1 lb Smoked sausage
1 lb Baby carrots
4 Celery ribs; sliced
1 lg Onion; chopped
1 ts Rosemary
1 ts Salt
Pepper; to taste
Parsley; for color
In an ovenproof 5 qt casserole dish, combine beans and water. Heat to
boiling, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients except
parsley. Return to a boil. Cover and bake at 350?F for 1-1/2 hours.
Remove cover and bake another 20 minutes or until beans are tender.
Garnish with parsley.
