Then they're not really doctors. They're bureaucraps w/degree. The Hippocratic states "First Do No Harm". Apparently they to the
    antethesis or Hypocritical Oath.

Unfortunately so. I don't know how anyone would work at a place thake that as a medical doctor, to be honest. The VA needs to be scrapped
and be rebuilt by people with a heart not a warped desire for power.

That's what happens when you put bureaucratsd in charge of a program
meant to show compassion and understanding. Bureaucrats are forever POed
that life does not fit into neat and orderly niches for them. And they
spend their working lives trying to make it so.

You need to get hold of my Senator - Tammy Duckworth. She's a
(disabled) veteran and a strong advocate for veteran;s causes,

I may; I have contacted my Senator and Congresswoman also.

Before she got into elected office she was the head of the Veteran's
Affairs department for my state. "Department of Veterans Affairs
llinois is the destination of choice for veterans and a national
leader in veteran advocacy and services. IDVA sets the standard for
connecting veterans and their families with all the benefits available

Long time since I last saw Linda's name pop up in here. She pre-dated
    even me.

I wonder where some of these people are now.

A lot of them are checking out nthe afterlife. Either wearing wings and playing a harp or shovelling fuel onto the fires. I told my brother, when
he asked what I wanted done with my ashes - "Put theem in the trunk of your
car and use them fortraaction on slick roads. That way I'll still be of
    some use .......

    Title: Sour-Milk Griddle Cakes
    Categories: Breads, Fruits, Dairy
    Yield: 2 servings

    MMMMM---------------------------SAUCE--------------------------------
    2 c Blueberries; rinsed
    1/3 c Sugar

    MMMMM--------------------------PANCAKES-------------------------------
    1 1/2 c A-P flour
    1/2 c Whole-wheat flour
    2 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Fine salt
    1 tb Unsalted butter; melted,
    - more for cooking
    1 lg Egg; beaten
2 c Sour milk or buttermilk
    Syrup or jam/jelly; to
    - serve

Make the sauce: To a medium pot set over medium heat,
bring the blueberries, sugar, and 1/3 cup of water to a
boil. Turn the heat to low and cook, stirring
occasionally, until theblueberries break down and the
sugar dissolves, 4-5 minutes. Remove from the heat and
    set aside.

Make the pancakes: In a large bowl, whisk together the
all-purpose flour, whole-wheat flour, baking powder,
baking soda, and salt. Whisk in the melted butter and
egg until just combined and no streaks of flour remain,
then whisk in the sour milk.

In a large non-stick skillet set over medium-low heat,
melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the foam has subsided,
working in batches, use a ?-cup measuring cup to scoop
the batter onto the pan (without crowding the surface).
Cook until tiny bubbles begin to form on the tops of the
pancakes and the bottoms are golden brown, 2-4 minutes.
Flip and cook the other side until golden brown, 2-4
minutes more. Transfer the pancakes to a platter and
tent with foil to keep warm. Add more butter to the
skillet and repeat with the remaining batter. Serve
immediately with the blueberry sauce and maple syrup.
