    I would take the time to write a detailed post, but taking your post/reply history in this ECHO of disregarding anything that people reply to you. I will place that burden on you.

    Also research Prince Shah Pahlavi's human rights record, and the abuses of the Savak Secret Police, and the roots of the Iranian Revolution in 1979.

    While you are there, cross refrence the outcomes over every other attempt by the United States and regieme change, starting with the Nho Diem presidency, and Lon Nol in Cambodia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

    Sorry, but history paints an entirely different picture than you white washed rhetoric...

    Pretty sure... I was watching a documentary on it and they say other wise.

    So you are saying that the King overthrew him self. Made his family run to other countries for their safety... While the Religious Zealots that were installed to run the country were tyrannical (at best) where they had no problem subjugating women and the civilians of that country.

    They went from "Normal" to the largest state sponsor of terror in the span of 47 years. If the King could do this why didn't he do so with him leading the country??
