    Hi All,

The first snapshot of GoldED+ 2.0.0 was released today:

    https://github.com/evs38/golded-plus/releases/tag/golded-plus-2.0.0-20260912

For anyone building it from source and wondering why your new binary is still showing 1.1.5, you probably need to modify the __GVER__ value in your golded3/mygolded.h file:

    __GVER__(2,0,0)

Maybe in a future release mygolded.h could be dispensed with?

This can be dispensed with. To do so, we need to switch completely to autotools (configure, etc.)

I'm using CMake. Can it be generated by CMakeLists.txt instead?

    Hello All!

    Just compiled.

By coincidence, I run uncofigured golded (just copied advanced.cfg to golded.cfg) and ended with empty dir after immediate exit. Interesting ;-)

OK. Looks like working on 5.14.0-687.42.1.el9_8.aarch64

The OS/2 version doesn't run in my very old WSEB based system.

Well, not a big surprise considering how it has been compiled:

    === cut =====================
    GoldED+2.0.0 beta at 20260912
    OS/2 binaries compiled with
    cross gcc 15.2 and LIBCn

    You probably need kLIBC installed.

https://ecsoft2.org/klibc-gcc-runtime-library is down, but this should work:

    https://repos.arcanoae.com/anpm/klibccfg_1_0_2_2.exe

I do, however the version is 1.0.2.1. I'm not going to do any updates right at the moment. I'll check it later.

    This version works. :)
