[O] Mood Machine: The Rise of Spotify and the Costs of the Perfect Playlist by Liz Pelly
    9781668083505

I just read this expecting some new sensations in the subject but none found. It's obvious critic of Spotify's business model and good pointer that it feeds on engagement for its own interest, nor it cares about artists, especially indie. It's a mainstream media these days and behaves like one so I don't share that negative enthusiasm of the author, nor I find all evidence he found being fundamentally judgmental. It's the matter of preference and in this I agree with the author. Spotify is not the way I like to listen to the music and discover it and being culturally enriched by it (regardless who gets monetarily rich on top of that experience, that's where my moral support is more vague to the cause).
