The question now is whether Orbán will be prosecuted by the new government for the blatant fraud and corruption that has taken place. For instance, Orbán's son-in-law has become fabulously wealthy because his companies were exclusively designated as mandatory suppliers from which the (local) government had to purchase products. He started with nothing and has now fled the country, even though he is worth 500 million dollars.
Does Orbán himself dare to stay in Hungary, or will he also flee to the US or Russia?
Magyar has indicated that he wants to restore the laws amended by Orbán to their original state.
The question is whether that will succeed. The judges and civil servants have been thoroughly vetted over the past 16 years and found to be fraudulent enough for Orbán's regime.
