In this Michigan case, the property was worth about $200,000 (according to the county). It was seized over a "unpaid" property tax of about $2000. It sold at auction for $57,000, so the ex-owner got $55,000 and the new owner flipped it for $250,000.

This is gov't committed fraud.

freeze bank accounts... Income taxes... the list goes on and on.

But that requires work on the part of the useless gov't employees.

want something that was added, it was a water line, so he ignored the
bill from the city and during the closing the city got their money
before he got his...

This one is a bit of a grey area to me, though. But this could have been handled in the courts easily.

I just think there are better ways of handling things than taking someone's house.

I would say that most people believe that. That's why the elimination of the property tax is high on people's lists. In the end, we'll pay the same amount in taxes. But if someone doesn't pay, they can't take their house.

The problem is that the terms "liberal" and "conservative" shift over time.

Going back to the 1950's, there were fewer differences. Both wanted the same end, but differed on how to get there.

Today, "classical liberals" like JFK are more likely to be in the "conservative" camp.

I heard some analysis on this and it makes sense... These Commies are divisive to the Democrat party, normal Democrats don't show up to vote because of this... and they get elected it... These Commies act to solidify the Republicans... We hate Commies... :)

But I will make the argument that the liberals who can still think have already left the party but simply find it hard to vote FOR who they have been voting against all this time. Even though the people they used to vote against are actually going to make things better for them.

It's a hard pill to swallow for some.

I was listening to someone who does polling and it looks like the polls are starting to move in Trump's way now...

The polls have been that way for a long time now. The Dems usually have large numbers early on and that shrinks as you get to Election Day. But that's not the case this year. Their "lead" in the polls is far smaller than it should be.

Regarding that 3rd subspecies, it's scary that people could be so ignorant. The media has already thoroughly warned us about the drawbacks of Communism, but all they had to do was make a minor change to their "programing" and

Kids aren't taught HOW to think in school. They are taught WHAT to think.

There are... about 1/2 ... Democrats like Bill Maher are thinking of voting Republican...

There are other classes of Democrats that will vote as well... Did you know that Fetterman, a Democrat, is hooking up with his Republican counterpart Dave McCormick for a fund raising expedition... Apparently they are going to make Pennsylvania Great Again.

People are hypothesizing that Fetterman is going to announce a party change soon... Either Republican or an Independent who caucuses with the Republicans.

Homeschooling seems the way forward.

Now, if we can get School of Choice passed in the states, that would really speed things up.
