    Hot and dry Mediterranean; low pressure into the North Sea facilitates
    strong winds and rain into Scandinavia, some unsettled weather east as
    well.

    Monday
    Hot and sunny in Spain and Portugal through Monday, some cloud in the
    north. Similarly hot with well-broken cloud through the central
    Mediterranean. Morning cloud in north Italy will tend to break through
    the day, some thundery showers in central Italy tending to slip south
    with sun spells. Rain for most Balkan States southeast of Croatia with
    local thunder. Mostly sunny and fine for Greece and Türkiye, some
    showers here and there in south Türkiye.
    France will have a fair day, some cloud in the morning but tending to
    break; warm to hot in the south. Showery rain in the Low Countries,
    increasingly extensive later, and the same rain band affecting northern
    Germany late in the day. Increasingly windy along north coasts here.
    Northern and eastern Poland should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
    Austria and Czechia as well as Switzerland will have some shows,
    substantial cloud for a time. A band of heavy showers stretches
    north-to-south from west Belarus to west Romania. Drier and very warm
    along the Black Sea and near-inland areas.
    Denmark will be generally fair with sunny spells, increasingly cloudy
    and windy here and in Norway. Rain with thundery bursts affects the
    Baltic States and west Finland; the remainder of Finland should be dry
    and quite warm. Showers in much of Sweden and Norway, with a wide area
    of rain arriving across southern areas later in the day.

    Tuesday
    Fine and very warm for Iberia and the Mediterranean islands. Similarly
    fine in Italy, only a few showers in far southern areas. Fair for the
    northern Balkan states, some showers forming in southern areas, notably
    Albania and North Macedonia, locally thundery. Showery in western
    Greece too, drier and sunny over the Aegean. Fine too in Türkiye, a few
    scattered showers near the coast.
    Mostly sunny in France, some rain in the east. This rain stretching
    into central Germand and west Poland, tending to move east through the

    Friday
    Lots of sunshine and hot weather in Spain and Portugal, a few isolated
    showers in Spain. Some cloud around the Balearics but sunshine and hot
    temperatures across Sardinia and Corsica and into Italy. These sunny
    and dry conditions stretch over the Baltic States into Greece and
    Türkiye as well. A notable northerly wind across the central Aegean
    Sea.
    Fair in France with plenty of sunshine and warm-to-hot temperatures.
    Northernmost areas may see more cloud, this cloud extending to parts of
    the Low Countries and northern Germany. Central and southern Germany
    will be dry with sunshine. Some cloud extends into Poland as well where
    morning showers are expected north, but central and southern areas
    should be substantially sunny. Austria and Switzerland may have
    scattered showers in the afternoon but should be mostly dry and
    similarly sunny. Hungary is dry with sunshine. Czechia and

    Cloud tending to build in France with showery rain, some heavier bursts

    Trending milder in the north

    Tuesday
    Central-southern Spain and all of Portugal stay dry, sunny and very
    warm. Showery rain for northern Spain, local heavy bursts around the
    Pyrenees and other northeast areas. Some thundery outbreaks forming
    into southern/southeast France too. Local showery rain in
    central-northern Italy with local heavy bursts, possibly thundery
    later. Much of the western Mediterranean dry, but isolated showers may
    form. Fine across the Balkan States, whilst thundery rain moves east
    over Romania and Bulgaria. Local showers for mainland Greece, but the
    Greek islands and Türkiye stay dry and fine.
    Cloud with some rain for central-northwest France. Fine, settled
    conditions prevail through central-northern Europe from the Low
    Countries east through Germany and Poland, warm summer sunshine. Dry
    too through Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary. Some showers over
    Switzerland and western Austria.
    Cool conditions extend across much of Scandinavia on northerly winds,
    with showery rain for northern areas, most frequent onto western Norway
    coasts. A cold front brings patchy rain to the Baltics and southern
    Sweden. Denmark and Lithuania stay largely fine. Southern Finland
    largely fine as well, some local rain in central and western areas.

    Wednesday
    More fine southern weather on most of Iberia though frequent showers
    continue in north Spain. Showers appear in the Balearics as well as
    Sardinia and Corsica. Wet across northern Italy with thundery showers,
    more scattered showers southward, mostly sunny and fine in the far
    south. A few scattered showers in Slovenia and Croatia, otherwise dry
    and sunny for the Balkan States. Scattered showers too over hills in
    Romania southward into Greece, extensive sun away and between showers.
    Only a few showers on central Turkish coasts.
    Outbreaks of showers across most of France, some thundery in the north.
    These thundery showers extend east across the Alps, extensively over
    Switzerland and much of Austria. Southern Germany likely to see showers
    as well with local thunder. Mostly dry with some cloud in north
    Germany, the Low Countries, and Poland, only some scattered rain
    northeast Poland. Dry too for Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary, though

    with thundery showers. More scattered showers in central Italy,
    becoming thunderstorms later in the day; mostly sunny and fine in the
    south. A few scattered showers in Slovenia and Croatia, heaviest
    showers west Slovenia. Otherwise dry and sunny for the Balkan States.
    Scattered showers too over hills in Romania southward through Bulgaria
    into Greece, extensive sun away and between showers. Only a few showers
    on central Turkish coasts, otherwise fine here.

    weather for Denmark and southern Sweden. Scattered rain across northern
    parts of Sweden and Finland, tending to fade as the day goes. Morning
    rain in the Baltic States slips southeast, clearing most areas for a
    sunny late afternoon.

    Thursday
    Showery outbreaks continue near north and east coasts of Spain, milder
    in north Spain than recently. Still dry and very warm south/west
    Iberia. Risk of showers continues for the Balearics and Sardinia and
    Corsica, some chance of thundery downpours. Thunderstorm risk persists
    in central and northern Italy and Slovenia, milder too in these areas.
    Some heavy showers into Croatia as well. The rest of the Balkans and
    southeast Europe fine with very warm sunshine.
    More west weather for much of France with thundery downpours in the
    east near the Alps. Northern areas substantially dry, with dry weather
    extending eastward across the Low Countries, Germany, and Poland.
    Expect a mix of cloud and sun in these areas. A band of heavy, thundery
    rain extends eastward from east France across the Alps through to
    Hungary and Slovakia. Unsettled too in Czechia, though more scattered
    and light in nature. Some scattered showers into western Romania and
    Ukraine as well, increasing in strength into nighttime.
    A brisk westerly wind across Denmark with a few showers. Showery too in
    southern Sweden with sun spells between. Remaining wet across Norway's
    coast, driest in southern areas with a mix of cloud and sun. Showery
    too with sunshine in Finland and into Estonia. Only scattered showers
    in Latvia and Lithuania, mostly sunny away from showers.
